Frigiliana
The small mountain village Frigiliana is situated six kilometres from Nerja. It is a very picturesque
and beautiful village. Small streets with restaurants and shops selling different kind of crafted goods.
If you do not have a car you can take the local bus up to this little treasure. If one wants to go by foot
up to Frigiliana, it takes about two hours and is a very nice and beautiful hike.

Torrox
The village consist of two parts, Pueblo and Costa. Pueblo is a genuine andalucian village with narrow
allies, white houses and small squares.
Like the name suggests Costa is situated down by the sea and has a fantastic boardwalk that stretches
several chilometres to El Morche. Down by the boardwalk there is a an amazing offering of bars,
restaurant and cafés.
Many spanish people come here to eat since the prices are good and the view and surroundings lovely.

Granada
Granada is situated about an hours drive from Nerja. Besides a well-renowned nightlife and great
shopping, Granada offers a magical experience for anyone interested in history and culture.
One can just walk around in the old quarters and enjoy the ambience.
Granadas history includes both the old Roman Empire and the arabs dream of world power.
In Granda you find one of the worlds most spectacular architectonical works, the castle of Alhambra.
One can park down in town, or drive directly to the Alhambra and first see this beautiful castle and it's
fantastic garden and then take a walk down into town.

Sierra Nevada
On the Sierra Nevada you find the most southerly ski resorts in Europe. The closeness to Sierra Nevada
from Nerja makes it one of the few places in the world were you can combine skiing and swimming in
the ocean on the same day. Sierra Nevada is much more than just a ski resort it is a National Park were,
especially during the summer, the lovely climate attracts many hikers.

Malaga
Sunny Malaga offers a nice mix of beaches, museums, culture and shopping. The central parts of Malaga
is not just a must for the many historical attractions but also for it´s shopping, restaurants and tapas bars.
Calle Marqués de Larios, often just called Larios, is one of the largest shopping streets that also has plenty
of cafés. The castle of Alcazaba in the historical centre of Malaga is situated near the port and one of the
cities most important attractions. From the hill were the castle is situated you have a fabulous view over
the port and the city. Just outside Malaga you will find one of Europes best botanical gardens with a wide
array of flowers and plants. Malagas historical center is also good for dining out and nightlife with many
tapas restaurants and bars. Everyone who loves art and museums has come to the right place since Malaga
is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. In the area of Pedregalejo, a few kilometres east of Malaga, is the
popular Playa las Acacias, which consists of several u-shaped beaches. In Pedregalejo there is also lots of
beach restaurants and in the weekend the nightlife is good. Pedregalejo is an old fishing village which has
preserved a lot of it´s charm.
